Senior Client Resource Manager

Sweden, Gothenburg Full time

We're seeking a Senior Resource Manager for our Professional Services Organization.

As a Senior Resource Manager you will lead capacity and resource management across a complex, multi-region organization. You will be responsible for addressing large-scale, existing capacity challenges by aligning sales demand, revenue targets, and delivery capability to support business growth objectives while maintaining utilization, margin, and customer outcomes.

Operating as a senior leader within the Resource Management Office (RMO), you will independently diagnose root causes, establish clarity and structure, and implement solutions to stabilize and optimize resource outcomes. Leveraging your advanced expertise, you will translate multiple data sources into actionable strategies, partner with Sales, Revenue Management, and Services leadership, and execute scalable processes that directly impact revenue realization and business performance. This role requires autonomous decision-making, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to drive change in a highly visible, high-accountability environment.

About the Role:

In this opportunity as a Senior Resource Manager, you will:

  • Own end-to-end capacity planning and demand-to-supply alignment across a complex, multi-region Professional Services organization, serving as a senior leader within the RMO.
  • Step into an existing, large-scale capacity challenge and establish clarity, structure, and execution to stabilize and optimize resource outcomes, including developing and executing capacity mitigation strategies.
  • Act as the primary point of accountability for capacity outcomes, operating autonomously in a highly visible, high-accountability role and driving prioritization, trade-offs, and decisions.
  • Partner with Sales, Revenue Management, Services, and Delivery leadership to translate sales forecasts, bookings, quotas, and pipeline demand into actionable capacity plans and provide strategic guidance on capacity constraints, prioritization, and risk mitigation.
  • Balance revenue growth objectives with delivery capability by evaluating and managing trade-offs between utilization, margin, customer commitments, and regional constraints.
  • Analyze regional differences in demand patterns, skills availability, labor constraints, and cost structures, conducting advanced analysis to identify systemic capacity risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Design and deliver operational and executive-level reporting that synthesizes data from multiple systems into clear recommendations for action.
  • Drive cross-functional and cross-regional resource management initiatives to improve scalability, efficiency, and revenue realization.
  • Collaborate with HR and Leadership to inform hiring and workforce planning decisions by identifying skill gaps and future capacity needs.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve resource management processes, governance, and decision-making frameworks.

About you

  • 10+ years of experience in Resource Management, Capacity Planning, and/or Professional Services Operations, with proven ownership of demand-to-supply alignment at scale, ideally within a formal Resource Management Office (RMO).
  • Demonstrated track record of stepping into complex or distressed capacity environments, rapidly establishing clarity, structure, and corrective action, and making independent, high-impact decisions.
  • Strong ability to translate sales forecasts, bookings, quotas, and pipeline demand into executable capacity plans, with deep understanding of Professional Services revenue models and trade-offs between growth, delivery capacity, utilization, margin, and customer commitments.
  • Experience managing multi-region or global delivery models, thinking holistically about revenue, quotas, capacity, and regional constraints, and navigating differences in demand, skills availability, labor constraints, and cost structures.
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable owning outcomes in highly visible, high-accountability roles and driving alignment across competing priorities.
  • Advanced analytical capability, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel for modeling, scenario analysis, and forecasting; PowerPoint for executive-level communication; and experience synthesizing data from multiple systems to drive decisions.
  • Experience working with Salesforce, Certinia (or equivalent PSA tools), and enterprise resource management systems to support capacity planning and optimization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or a related field; MBA or relevant certifications strongly preferred.
