Your day at NTT DATA
As a Senior Security Client Partner at NTT DATA, you will be a key player in driving our managed services and outsourcing deals. Your day will involve using your expertise to consult with clients and working closely with our internal sales and delivery teams to identify, develop, and close opportunities. You'll act as a trusted advisor to clients, forging strong relationships and ensuring our solutions align with their business goals.
You'll create demand for our security managed services solutions by identifying and qualifying client needs and presenting how NTT DATA's offerings add exceptional value. This role will demand persuasive skills to address client concerns about transitioning to a cloud-managed services solution and effectively balance your time between existing clients and new prospects.
Collaboration will be at the heart of your role. You'll partner with regional leads, services teams, vendors, and various internal teams to craft high-value service opportunities and guide them through to completion. Building and maintaining deep relationships with clients' leaders will be essential, as will understanding their industry and competitive landscape to execute winning strategies.
You'll be responsible for constructing managed services deals, including commercial modeling and negotiating contractual terms, all while mitigating risks. Managing a pipeline of opportunities and ensuring DATA accuracy for insights and reporting will also be critical. Through proactive engagement with clients and a thorough understanding of their needs, you will drive business growth and secure long-term renewals.
Your role includes sharing best practices within our organization to build a strong knowledge base, ensuring all teams are well-informed of client challenges and industry trends. You'll also take an active role in providing regular updates and check-ins with stakeholders, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and client satisfaction.
To thrive in this role, you need to have:- A strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including various types of threats and security vulnerabilities.
- Proficiency in best practices for securing networks and systems.
- Advanced knowledge of and ability to position NTT DATA's service offerings across multiple technology domains.
- Familiarity with platform-delivered services and their value propositions.
- A proven track record in managed services solutions to large enterprises.
- Experience in structuring large, multi-year contracts and managing end-to-end sales processes.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
- A strong client-centric approach with problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- The ability to independently identify and qualify opportunities with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical or sales field or related disciplines.
