What it’s like to be a Northbridge Senior Claims Technical Specialist, Property?
The Senior Claims Technical Specialist is responsible for delivering Northbridge's industry leading claims service. The successful candidate is responsible for providing efficient and prompt investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and settlement of complex property claims in accordance with established best practices. The Senior Technical Specialist is expected to support their teams through their expertise as a coach and mentor.

If you are great at:
Thoroughly investigating & evaluating assigned complex claims
Investigate, scope, and confirm coverage.
Working with Field Services and Restoration Contractors
Provide training to new hires through job shadowing sessions.
Support and mentor other adjusters on the team
And you have:
Post-Secondary Education in an Insurance focused program or related program
Completed or working towards the CIP designation (an asset)
A minimum of 10 years of Property Claims Adjuster experience
Experience with applying applicable case law, arbitration decisions and provincial legislation.
Experience in establishing and monitoring litigation disposition plans.
Strong technical skills with MS Office Suite
Ability to clearly communicate with Claimants, Brokers, and vendors.
