Job Title: Children’s Residential Support Worker, Senior Support Worker and Team Leader.
Location: Northamptonshire
Pay Rate: £29,120-£32,840 per annum (Plus overtime) - dependent upon experience.
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Job Description:

We at Liquid Personnel have an exciting opportunity for a Residential Support Worker to join one of our client’s fantastic homes for children and young people aged 11–17. The home supports individuals with backgrounds of trauma and emotional and behavioural difficulties. You will be working for an outstanding local children’s home provider operating across the Hertfordshire and North London area.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Provide a high standard of care and support to vulnerable young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties and/or self-esteem issues, helping them maximise their potential.
  • Demonstrate positive attitudes, patience, understanding, and respect when caring for children and young people.
  • Maintain a flexible, caring, and sensitive approach to service delivery, respecting individual cultural, religious, and sexual diversity.
  • Work in a professional manner and build strong working relationships with children, young people, and external agencies.
  • Create positive relationships with the children, meeting their needs and safeguarding them at all times.
  • Develop timetables, set boundaries, and establish clear expectations for young people.
  • Ensure consistency and demonstrate strong organisational skills in all aspects of care and support.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have, 

  • Hold a Level 3 or 4 in Residential Childcare or be working towards this
  • Good knowledge around Children’s Homes regulations (2015), Children’s Homes Regulations including the quality standards
  • Ideally hold at least 1 years’ experience within a children’s residential homes
  • Hold a Full UK driving licence
