Within Business Banking (BB), the Digital Business Banking Domain is responsible for transforming the way our business customers interact with us — across platforms like CommBiz Web, CommBiz Mobile, the CommBank App and NetBank. The Process and Performance Improvement Centre of Excellence supports the Domain through strategic, crew-agnostic initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
Do work that matters
This role is a key enabler in the Domain to improve the ways we serve our customers, particularly through the CommBiz platform. This is a highly visible role where your work will directly improve customer experiences and business outcomes
Lead long term strategic projects that strengthen CommBiz, with a focus on meeting customer needs and resolving breakpoints
Drive continuous improvements to the ways we serve our CommBiz customers and internal stakeholders
Own business processes and procedures supporting the sound operation of the CommBiz platform, and drive enhancements to these processes and procedures
Accountable for monitoring the performance of CommBiz and supporting planned and unplanned outages where there is customer impact / communication is needed
Responsible for maintenance of CommBiz related customer and staff collateral
Responsible for proactively managing crew-agnostic risks, performing risk controls and issue and incident management
Act as a trusted subject matter expert for CommBiz business processes, partnering with stakeholders across the Group to deliver outcomes
We are looking for candidates who have
Experienced product, risk or compliance manager (or equivalent) with 6+ years of relevant experience in financial services, product management and/or process improvement
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail
Successful change agent with a strong bias to challenging the status quo and implementing required changes
Strong stakeholder engagement and management capabilities. Success in the role requires the ability to lead and influence with and without direct authority
Advanced problem-solving capabilities – be motivated and comfortable with investigating issues, identifying nuances, and recommending and implementing effective solutions
Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent practical experience required
Strong time management and organisation skills including the ability to manage competing priorities
Experience in process, procedure and performance improvements for operations and technology platforms would be well regarded
