About the Role

Champion Dyson Beauty across ANZ, developing and executing transformational GTM strategies that unlock growth, elevate our brand, and deliver commercial success - efficiently and creatively.

Beauty is a highly competitive, fast-evolving category. Dyson’s hair care portfolio leads the field in engineering innovation and design. The right candidate combines commercial rigour, creative thinking, and deep market insight to grow Dyson Beauty’s leadership in the region.

Main responsibilities include but not limited to:-

  • Synthesise Global strategy with ANZ insights to deliver plans with strong local relevance, while consistently feeding local learnings back to Group stakeholders to influence and secure buy-in for ANZ initiatives

  • Lead the end-to-end execution of annual Go-to-Market (GTM) plans and New Product Development (NPD), defining local positioning, claims approval, and the commercial size of ambition

  • Develop integrated category communication strategies and full-year briefs across all touchpoints (PR, digital, social, retail, and brand experience), ensuring the Creative Hub and external agencies are held accountable for delivery

  • Manage the category P&L and strategic allocation of Brand Building Investment (BBI), including monthly spend reconciliation and proactive course-correction to optimise results

  • Act as the category custodian across all sales channels, ensuring a seamless consumer journey and consistent strategy implementation across both Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) and 3P Retail

  • Lead the development of consumer, category, and shopper insights, managing research initiatives and conducting user trials on prototype machines to drive product development and communication

  • Project-lead cross-functional teams—including Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and Legal—to deliver the implementation plan and overarching category vision

  • Partner closely with demand planning and supply teams to monitor stock levels, minimise out-of-stock risks, and align activation priorities with availability

  • Monitor market dynamics, competitor activity, and market share trends to provide actionable intelligence that evolves the category GTM strategy

  • Conduct rigorous post-campaign analysis and ROI measurement on investment activities, using data-driven insights to steer future plans and strategy

About You

You are commercially astute with a proven track record of managing P&Ls and brand investment in premium, fast-paced sectors. You possess the strategic weight to influence global stakeholders and the local insight to deliver impactful ANZ go-to-market plans. A data-led and self-driven collaborator, you excel at leading high-impact projects and orchestrating cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless consumer experience across all retail and digital platforms.

Previous skills & experience

  • Marketing or related degree (Business/Marketing)

  • Solid experience in brand and category management

  • Demonstrated experience across product and brand through NPD launches, range planning

  • Experience in a matrixed organisation with a diverse local cross-functional team and Global stakeholders preferred

  • Previous experience in FMCG or consumer electronics desirable

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal

  • Strong analytical skills and sound commercial acumen
