Primary Responsibilities
- Lead supplier onboarding and catalog enablement in SAP Ariba and the Ariba Business Network to streamline indirect procurement processes.
- Collaborate with sourcing teams and suppliers to optimize catalog quality, usability, and compliance across enterprise procurement operations.
- Enhance end-user experience by ensuring catalog content is accurate, current, and aligned with negotiated contracts and enterprise purchasing goals.
- Serve as the main point of contact for suppliers and internal stakeholders throughout the enablement lifecycle.
- Ensure successful deployment of punchout and hosted catalogs to support scalable and efficient buying channels.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Enable suppliers in Ariba through cXML, punchout, and hosted catalog formats.
- Guide suppliers through technical and process onboarding, ensuring timely and accurate integration with the Ariba Business Network.
- Collect and manage supplier data, conduct testing of punchout and catalog content, and provide enablement training as needed.
- Perform ongoing catalog audits and maintenance to ensure pricing accuracy, content quality, and compliance with internal policies.
- Collaborate with IT, procurement, and sourcing teams to define catalog requirements and supplier segmentation strategies.
- Triage and resolve supplier issues and user inquiries, escalating as needed to support teams or platform providers.
- Monitor enablement metrics and KPIs, providing regular updates and insights to sourcing leads and stakeholders.
- Develop, maintain, and improve standard operating procedures and enablement documentation.
- Provide support for catalog and supplier enablement in post-implementation stages.
- Support regulatory and compliance initiatives related to supplier onboarding and catalog data integrity.
Knowledge
- Proven experience in supplier enablement and catalog management within SAP Ariba and guided buying.
- Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, supplier segmentation, and indirect sourcing.
- Familiarity with catalog formats (punchout, CIF, cXML), catalog testing procedures, and supplier network integrations.
- Ability to interpret and align catalog content with contract terms, commodity codes, and category strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with suppliers, procurement teams, and IT stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple supplier integrations and catalog initiatives simultaneously look at the spend analysis.
- Proficiency with tools like Excel, Ariba configuration interfaces and PowerPoint.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users and lead stakeholder workshops or training sessions.
Willingness to work in shift to support US business (No night shift required)
Education/Experience
- Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in the Catalog Management and or Ariba Enablement role supplier facing
- SAP Ariba certification is a plus.
- Experience working in regulated industries or enterprise environments is a plus.
