Below is the job description for open position
Responsibilities
Oversee activities related to the procurement of Direct/Indirect Materials, parts, components, facility services, equipment, Tooling, Jig & fixture and MRO.
Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
Purchase in critical and complex items that required experiences.
Provide market information and analysis (pricing/availability/lead-time/options) in wide range of products to customers upon request.
Analyze suppliers’ quotation and support in cost down activities
Implement Direct/Indirect sourcing activities to support business objectives.
Implement and improve Direct/Indirect buying process under global policy, process and strategy.
Implement and improve Direct/Indirect buying tools/systems, working instructions in the regions to fulfill company internal audit, compliance and external audit requests
Support all sourcing activities and company-wide commitments, including reviewing, negotiating, and acquiring targeted indirect spend categories.
Manage contract review/negotiation with existing/new suppliers and obtain best terms (quality, price, and quantity, delivery) to meet current and future requirement.
Complete purchase requests with domestic and international suppliers by inputting purchase orders, expediting deliveries, and verifying all transactions.
Interface with Supplier, Client’s Expeditor, and User Department to ensure on time delivery for critical items by regularly reviewing the progress report.
Qualifications:
5+ Experience in Direct/Indirect Material Purchasing in multinational company
Bachelor's degree or higher in related field, any Engineering background would be advantageous.
Professional understanding of SCM, Purchasing policies and procedures
Excellent negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills
Advanced skills with ERP systems (SAP, QAD) and Microsoft Office
Flexible, dedicated , well-mannered and possessing leadership skills
Fluent in Thai and English
