Abbott is expanding its Commercial Technology team, and we’re looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst to support and evolve our Veeva CRM ecosystem across global markets.
You’ll work closely with our Veeva System Architect and partner with business, commercial, sales, and IT stakeholders to enhance field force effectiveness and shape the future of our commercial platforms.
As the Senior BSA, you will become the key connector between the business and our Veeva technology landscape. Your work will include:
Work directly with business partners to understand commercial requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
Analyze processes, identify gaps, and propose solutions leveraging Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault, or other commercial platforms.
Support the full requirements lifecycle: discovery → documentation → validation → delivery.
Convert business needs into clear, scalable solution designs.
Lead data and process modeling, impact assessments, and change management.
Coordinate and perform testing (UAT, functional, validation) to ensure high‑quality releases.
Provide L2/L3 support, troubleshoot issues, and design long‑term resolutions.
Recommend improvements, enhancements, and optimizations to elevate user experience.
Oversee minor projects, enhancements, and bug fixes from concept to delivery.
Build strong relationships across Commercial, Sales, IT, and vendor teams.
Conduct training, demos, and onboarding sessions for users.
Oversee contractors, analysts, and QA/test partners where needed.
Bachelor’s degree.
5–7 years experience in healthcare, life sciences, or similar regulated environments.
Experience with Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault, Salesforce.com (SFDC) or other large commercial applications.
Minimum 4 years as a Business Analyst working with packaged CRM systems.
Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
Ability to translate business requirements into high‑quality, scalable solutions.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, matrixed environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
Hands‑on Veeva or Salesforce implementation experience (user stories, config, functional design).
Experience with Opportunity & Lead Management, Sales/Service processes, Inventory or Asset Management.
Exposure to data warehousing, MDM and regional/global solution rollouts.
Familiarity with SDLC, Agile, Waterfall, Jira/Confluence, HP ALM, Tricentis Q‑Test.
Experience working with validated systems (GxP).
Creativity in problem-solving and influencing business decisions.
Willingness to travel 10–20% (including international).
