Position Summary:

                

  • Leads process improvement initiatives through the disciplined use of measurements, accountability, analysis and discussion of process alternatives and best practices
  • Brings expertise in support of multi-functional efforts in process improvement, data capture and analysis, process ownership and compliance with procedures, etc.
  • Ensures that policies and procedures align with corporate vision

Responsibilities:

  • Acquire and maintain a clear understanding of the processes and technologies utilized in Illumina’s products, parts, and services.
  • Review, evaluate, enforce and enhance Warehouse and Logistics Work Instructions (WIs) to ensure regulatory (eg. MDSAP) compliance.
  • Provide quantitative and analytical insight on Supply Chain processes.
  • Lead regional and global supply chain process improvement initiatives for warehouse and logistics ensuring cross functional linkage between strategy, operational plans, and key metrics.
  • Partner with IDS (Illumina Digital Services) and GOA (Global Operations Analytics) to manage enhancements deployments which will meet Global Supply Chain’s strategic business vision.
  • Drive release process control and governance, partnering with IDS (Illumina Digital Services) and workstream stakeholders.
  • Drive process and continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain by embracing lean methodologies to reduce waste and incorporating market best practices.
  • Own Illumina’s control standards and support audits for Warehouse Operations activities.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of Warehouse and Operations business processes with a proven record of reducing waste and driving value
  • Effective problem-solving ability to influence others (cross-functionally and globally)
  • Proven record of implementing standard business processes in the warehouse and logistics space
  • Good understanding of SAP and other warehouse and operations business systems architecture and data inputs for process analysis
  • Experience with end-to-end supply chain and interacting with different Operations divisions such as Procurement, Quality and Manufacturing is a must
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with SQL, databases, visualization applications such as Tableau/Power BI

Preferred Experience/Education/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field is required. MBA or Masters in Supply Chain is a plus
  • At least 5 years work experience in Supply Chain.  Experience in a medical device company is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Lean/Six Sigma Certification is a plus

The estimated base salary range for the Senior Business Process Analyst role based in the United States of America is: $90,000 - $135,000. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
