Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) division is seeking a tenacious Senior Business Operations Specialist (Level 4) to join our KC-46 Program in Everett, WA. 

Our Business Operations Specialist will play an essential role in driving operational excellence, data‑driven decision making, and cross‑functional integration across the Program. This role partners with senior program managers to deliver timely analytics and insights, manage performance metrics, and implement initiatives that strengthen Program Management performance.

  • Experienced in project/program management: plans, executes, monitors, and controls complex initiatives.
  • Comfortable using tools and methods that create structure and alignment across teams.
  • Fluency with M365 tools, including Teams, SharePoint, Lists, and Excel; aware of Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Ability to work quickly and adapt in a fast-changing environment with evolving systems and tools.

 Position Responsibilities:

  • Operationalize, implement, and integrate program business requirements into executable plans and processes.
  • Guide and facilitate development of integration plans, strategies, and processes to achieve business goals.
  • Coordinate and clarifies analysis with business partners to validate results and determine scope to meet long range business plans.
  • Coordinate commitments across internal and external organizations for large-scale, complex programs to execute broad strategies.
  • Identify risks and opportunities; develop mitigation plans and refine the business case.
  • Prepare and present plans to executive leadership to obtain approval; lead implementation and follow-up once approved.
  • Consult with leaders on a healthy management systems leveraging Program Management Best Practices.
  • Utilizes data analytics to forecast performance to committed plans and consults with leaders on strategic opportunities.
  • Consult with leaders on strategic opportunities based on data-driven forecasts and trend analysis.
  • Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of issues to protect schedule, cost, and performance commitments.
  • Assist in task management and provide expert business advice to optimize executive resources.
  • Develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures, and set measurable operational goals.
  • Define, design, plan, and lead project teams; control and deliver project deliverables while optimizing team contributions.
  • Build and leverage collaborative relationships across the enterprise to accomplish goals.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop less experienced personnel.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Level 4 Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience using Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) and processes and methods
  • Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Experience in a role that required creative, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills, strong collaborative skills, strong written and verbal communication
  • 3+ years’ experience, skill, and ability to collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data
  • 3+ years’ of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior management, customers, stakeholders, peers and partners
  • Experience SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and other M365 collaboration tools

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Experience with Program Management, project management and/or Business Operations
  • 3+ years’ experience leading cross-functional teams in a program environment
  • Exposure to M365 Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI
  • Experience working with large data sets required (e.g. advanced Excel, Power Pivot, Tableau and/or Microsoft Power BI)
  • Boeing Production System (BPS)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for $120,700 - $163,300
