Job Description

Demonstrates strong skills in computer based applications, with excellent Microsoft Excel skills. Demonstrates proven experience and skills with database structure and relationships, as well as various statistical concepts and tools. Willing to make independent and timely decisions. Ability to collect and organize detailed information and to conceptualize the abstract. Enthusiastic, tactful and patient with a cheerful disposition and the ability to handle difficult situations. Willing to seek out new information and knowledge and embrace new responsibilities and change. Disseminates broad general knowledge of the Sanford systems as they relate to the Sanford books of business, help keep key stakeholders apprised of important information that allows them to more effectively execute job functions. Produces and/or coordinates data research, reporting, analyzing of data, and integration of data. Leads in the interpretation of complex business data and formulate meaningful recommendations. Promotes data integrity and confidentiality of data when sharing with users. Promotes effective decision-making with understandable and well-organized data and reports. Summarizes, explains and presents data in an effective, useful and understandable manner. Openly accepts and responds to questions and challenges to the data. Identifies appropriate measures and means to translate complex data situations into appropriate data and system terminology and specifications. Efficiently use tools to aid in the measure of statistical significance. Communicates results and suggest further courses of action. Follows up project to ensure meeting of the goals set. Continuously searches for opportunities of automating manual processes and developing on-demand tools for descriptive data. Consistently demonstrates an ability to integrate and maintain databases and use appropriate Business Intelligence (BI) tools and other applications necessary for meeting department and customer needs. Learns and integrates new computer applications into daily work environment. Assists and mentors others in the department in relation to data sources and structure, data interpretation and other organizational and functional aspects of the position. Ability to handle stressful and adverse situations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, data science, computer science, statistics or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) related majors required.

2 to 3 years previous experience commensurate with area of responsibility preferred.
