About You and This Role
Diamond Infrastructure Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Finance Specialist! This position can be located in Houston (TX) or Midland (MI).

In this role, you will provide financial reporting, analysis, forecasting, and metric development for a business, and advise management in areas of focus and corrective actions as needed. The results of this financial reporting and analysis will be used by senior management to make business decisions and interventions based on financial performance indicators.

This role will require in-depth conceptual and working knowledge of your discipline or functional area. You will need to understand your discipline's best practices and how they relate to others. You may need to lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements as well as serve as a resource for less experienced colleagues. You should also be able to explain difficult or sensitive information and work to build consensus with others.

It is your responsibility to analyze and resolve complex problems, examine information from multiple sources, and use judgement to evaluate established and new solutions. Your performance impacts a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within your own team and other related teams and requires that you work within established guidelines and policies.

Responsibilities

  • Create, update, and maintain financial reports and scorecards.
  • Provide financial reporting and analysis for business decision making.
  • Participate in monthly and quarterly closing process, providing the overall business analysis.
  • Plan and coordinate closing activities throughout the different businesses and with the different Corporate functions.
  • Combine financial information across the business group in order to provide consolidated financial information and relevant analysis for the Leadership Team.
  • Provide ad hoc reports financial information, and analysis to key stakeholders as requested.
  • Typically support a value center within a business, likely at a regional or global level (small size) with a low to moderate degree of complexity.
  • Provide overall responsibility, supervision, and management of credit risk for a relatively medium and complex business portfolio.
  • Meet account receivable objectives and goals and implement the credit strategy and action plans to meet business needs and credit requirements for the portfolio.
  • Evaluate credit risk and establish credit limits and payment terms to customers including the global coordination and implementation of corporate accounts.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E5 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking.
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant working experience.
  • A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States.  No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A degree discipline in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related
  • CPA preferred

  • Cost Flows & Activity‑Based Charges: Strong understanding of cost flows, activity‑based charges, and revenue recognition for site services and trade customers, ensuring accurate accounting and reporting
