The Opportunity

As a Senior Business Analyst ServiceNow Employee Center/UX/Mobile, you will serve as a vital bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, focusing on the design and delivery of efficient, user-centric solutions within the ServiceNow EC Pro Portal, UX, and Mobile Application domain. Your expertise will be instrumental in gathering requirements, driving solution design, and ensuring strong alignment with Takeda’s business objectives and compliance standards, including GxP and SOX. By leveraging your analytical skills, ServiceNow knowledge, and stakeholder management expertise, you will play a key role in enabling innovative portal and mobile capabilities, ensuring an exceptional user experience and delivering impactful outcomes aligned with Takeda’s digital transformation goals.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze business requirements for ServiceNow Employee Center Pro portal, UX, and mobile app enhancements.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, Product and Process Owners, UX designer, architects, engineers, and development teams to identify needs, evaluate solutions, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and workflows.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units to ensure successful project execution.
  • Conduct gap analysis to determine areas for improvement in existing processes and solutions.
  • Develop mockups, prototypes, and solution designs for portal and mobile applications.
  • Ensure all requirements and processes comply with Takeda’s GxP, SOX, and other regulatory standards.
  • Facilitate workshops and sessions to gather feedback and refine solution designs.
  • Support end-to-end testing activities, including test planning, test case reviews, and user acceptance testing.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation, including requirements, workflows, and change management reports.
  • Monitor and measure the performance of solutions post-deployment to ensure business needs are met.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement for project updates, issue resolution, and change management processes.
  • Stay updated on ServiceNow capabilities and emerging trends to propose innovative solutions.
  • Provide training and support to users, ensuring the smooth adoption of ServiceNow platform enhancements.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of requirements, workflows, configurations, and lessons learned to support scalability and drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide strategic guidance and partner with development teams to architect and optimize UX design, workflows, and integrations using Flow Designer, Generic Workflow, scripting, and APIs—emphasizing automation, usability, and performance at scale.
  • Manage the system implementation lifecycle—including installation, configuration, deployment, and release—ensuring adherence to Takeda’s SDLC toolset, as well as timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Partner with service operations and support teams to troubleshoot system issues, ensuring adherence to ServiceNow best practices, Takeda-defined standards, Agile methodologies, and organizational policies.
  • Deliver demos, solutions, and strategic recommendations to stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making and fostering continuous innovation.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: 6+ years of combined experience in business analysis and in architecting, designing, and developing comprehensive ServiceNow solutions, with strong focus on EC Pro, User Experience, App Engine, and mobile applications.
  • Business Analysis and Platform Knowledge:
    • Strong understanding of IT Service Management processes.
    • Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting complex business requirements to align with organizational strategies and translate them into actionable insights and solutions.
    • Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions and communicate technical concepts back to business stakeholders in an accessible and actionable manner.
  • Certification:
    • ServiceNow System Administrator certification.
  • Problem Solving and Ways of Working:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to manage priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication:
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate business cases, engage stakeholders, and foster collaboration.
