As a Senior Business Analyst within the Securities Finance team in our Capital Markets organization, you will play a hands-on role in implementing and delivering solutions for broker-dealers and investment banks. You’ll work closely with clients, engineers, and internal consultants to design, configure, test, and deploy system implementations that support securities lending, repo, margin, and regulatory requirements.

This role is ideal for an experienced Securities Finance professional who enjoys seeing solutions through from requirements to production and serving as a trusted implementation partner for clients.


About the team:

The Securities Finance team supports mission-critical solutions for broker-dealers and investment banks. You’ll work closely with clients, Technology Business Consultants, and Engineering teams on client projects for implementations, testing, and upgrades.


What you will be doing:

  • Partner directly with broker-dealers and investment banks to gather requirements and drive solution implementation from design through deployment
  • Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications for development teams
  • Support system implementations, including configuration, data validation, and coordination with development teams
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and help re-engineer workflows to increase efficiency, accuracy, and compliance
  • Act as the voice of the client, ensuring solutions align with business objectives and regulatory obligations
  • Support and execute system testing, validating that delivered solutions meet defined requirements
  • Provide subject-matter guidance on securities finance, segregation, and regulatory impacts of system changes
  • Define system scope and objectives based on client business models, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
  • Train, mentor, and support junior analysts, contributing to team knowledge and development


What you will need:

  • 7-10 years of Business Systems / Business Analyst experience in financial services
  • Strong hands-on experience with Securities Finance, including Securities Lending and Repo
  • Required expertise in SEC Rule 15c3-3 and Regulation SHO
  • Experience with security settlements, Segregation Maintenance, including margin accounts and segregation memos
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end systems development life cycles in complex, regulated environments
  • Ability to clearly translate business requirements into technical specifications and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
  • SQL experience is a plus

The pay range for this full-time position is $0.00 - $999,999,999.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
