The Payments Settlements (PS) department is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a dynamic team responsible for delivering security initiatives and major projects that maintain and enhance Australia’s critical payment systems. These include the Reserve Bank Information and Transfer System (RITS), the Fast Settlement Service (FSS), and SWIFT systems used for interbank payments. In this role, you will act as a key liaison between stakeholders to elicit, analyse, communicate, and validate requirements for changes that strengthen the security and resilience of PS systems.

The Security and Resilience Analysis (SRA) team is part of the Payments Settlements Business Delivery section. We work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver projects that strengthen and enhance Australia’s payments system. Our team leads the planning, management, and implementation of security and resilience initiatives across the department, including the SWIFT Customer Security Programme attestation. Safe, secure and reliable settlement systems are integral to the smooth functioning of the Australian economy, and projects relating to these systems are a critical aspect of the RBA’s work.
