Senior Business Analyst – Change Excellence Team

1 Permanent & 1 Fixed Term Contract Position Available

The Role:

We’re building something bigger, and better, that makes delivering change across our organisation easier, smarter, and genuinely enjoyable for colleagues.

We need a Senior Business Analyst with the curiosity, courage, and craft to help shape it from day one.

You’ll join our new Change Excellence Team, the engine room designed to sharpen how we deliver change across the organisation. You’ll help build the frameworks, tools, insights and ways of working that will raise the bar for every project that comes next.

This isn’t a BA role where you’re handed requirements and told to “run with it.” This is where you help build the standards. If you love solving complex problems, thrive in ambiguity, and get a buzz from bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to change - this is your moment.

Key Responsibilities for this Role:

  • Leading analysis for complex, cross functional change initiatives such as implementation of our new strategic portfolio management tool
  • Translating strategic goals into clear, evidence-based business requirements
  • Bringing structure to messy problems and simplifying the complex
  • Analysing options and assessing them based on risk and value
  • Acting as the crucial "translator" between business stakeholders and IT teams, bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions – creating change that sticks
  • Co-creating and championing great business analysis practices and building capability in others
  • Constantly looking for ways to make change easier and smoother for everyone

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Expert in Business Analysis Best Practice: International diploma in Business Analysis (or equivalent qualification) would be extremely beneficial in this role
  • Expert problem solving: You move confidently from problem space to solution space
  • Requirements mastery: Skilled at elicitation, mapping, sequencing, prioritisation and acceptance testing
  • Process analysis & improvement: Able to dissect, redesign and optimise end-to-end processes. Assessing impacts on systems, processing mapping and working with IT to identify necessary technical changes
  • Critical thinking: You challenge assumptions, uncover root causes and make evidence-based decisions. You can analyse system MI reporting and distribution of this information to downstream systems to support organisational level reporting
  • Communication & storytelling: You translate complexity into clear, compelling insights that land
  • Stakeholder leadership: Comfortable influencing and facilitating at all levels and navigating competing priorities
  • Change delivery knowhow: Experienced in working across Agile, hybrid and traditional delivery models

We’d love to hear from you if you’re someone who’s genuinely curious - the kind of person who asks thoughtful questions and digs a little deeper to understand what’s really going on. You enjoy working with others and naturally bring people together, even when things feel a bit unclear. You think ahead, notice patterns early and stay focused on creating real value for the people around you.

Most of all, you care about making things better - for colleagues, for customers, and for the workplace as a whole.

If this sounds like you, we want you to apply!
