Senior Business Analyst

Location: This position is remote within Colombia

Huge is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support cross-functional analysis efforts across high-impact digital initiatives. The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for driving clarity, quality, and consistency in requirements, ensuring alignment between business goals, capabilities, and delivery execution. 

This role partners closely with Product, Design, Engineering, and Quality Assurance teams to translate business needs into clear, actionable functional and non-functional requirements. The Senior BA acts as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, applying strong analytical rigor, and data-informed thinking to shape solution direction and ensure measurable outcomes. 

A successful candidate brings strong problem-solving skills, confidence operating in ambiguity, and the ability to simplify complex systems and decisions. This individual can operate independently on large, complex initiatives or across multiple concurrent projects while maintaining strong stakeholder alignment and delivery momentum. 

What You’ll Be Doing 

  • Partnering closely with Product, Design, Engineering, and Quality Assurance teams to define and refine requirements that align business objectives with technical and delivery realities. 
  • Leading discovery and requirements gathering for complex digital initiatives, driving clarity on scope, assumptions, risks, and dependencies. 
  • Translating business needs into clear functional, technical, and non-functional requirements that guide delivery teams from design through implementation. 
  • Creating and maintaining high-quality analysis artifacts including BRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, data flows, and supporting documentation. 
  • Intaking and annotating designs to ensure requirements accurately reflect intended functionality and system behavior. 
  • Owning and maintaining Jira for assigned engagements, ensuring backlog health, traceability, and alignment to delivery priorities. 
  • Contributing to backlog prioritization leveraging structured frameworks and facilitating stakeholder alignment on trade-offs, sequencing, and scope. 
  • Collaborating with Product and Project Managers to manage scope, support sprint and release planning, and maintain roadmap visibility. 
  • Guiding estimation and sizing activities in partnership with Design, Development, and Quality Assurance teams to inform feasibility and planning. 
  • Identifying risks, gaps, and conflicts in requirements and proactively driving resolution throughout the delivery lifecycle. 
  • Supporting demos and UAT cycles, validating delivered functionality against requirements and supporting issue triage and resolution. 
  • Communicating priorities, trade-offs, and rationale clearly to teams, building trust and shared understanding. 

What We’d Like to See 

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst delivering complex digital initiatives. 
  • Experience working in an agency or consulting environment supporting enterprise or multi-stream delivery. 
  • Strong expertise in requirements gathering, functional and non-functional documentation, and requirements lifecycle management. Especially related to: Accessibility, Integrations, Localization, and End to End technical flows 
  • Ability to analyze business needs and quickly assess feasibility, dependencies, and delivery considerations. 
  • Hands-on experience working with enterprise platforms, content management systems, and integrated digital ecosystems. 
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and SDLC processes, with experience supporting sprint and release planning. 
  • Advanced proficiency with tools such as Jira and Confluence, including backlog ownership and documentation standards. 
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate prioritization discussions and guide teams through trade-offs and decision-making. 
  • Proven stakeholder management skills, including facilitating workshops and navigating complex delivery environments. 
  • Comfort working with globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable guidance. 
  • Advanced English fluency, with strong written and spoken communication skills.
