The team

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Business Analyst with strong Agile experience to drive business process improvements and support high-quality solution delivery. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to translate business needs into clear functional requirements and ensure successful implementation.

The role

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead requirements gathering workshops with stakeholders and SMEs to define and document business and technical requirements aligned with strategic goals.
  • Analyze current (“as-is”) processes and design improved (“to-be”) solutions, conducting gap and impact analyses to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Develop user personas, journey maps, and functional specifications including user stories, business rules, and data requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, developers, and solution architects to refine backlog items, support roadmap planning, and manage scope effectively.
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Retrospectives) to ensure iterative delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that solutions meet business and quality standards.
  • Serve as the liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and successful execution of deliverables.

What you’ll bring

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and system integrations.
  • Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL is a plus.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft tools for reporting and data visualization (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to exceptional delivery standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the automobile industry.
  • Background in business process management and cloud technologies.
  • Relevant certifications such as:
    • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
    • PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
    • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)

This role is based in Plano, TX and need local candidates only. It's a Hybrid position.
