For NBG Pay, we are currently seeking a competent and experienced Senior Business Analyst responsible for using our raw data to identify trends and issues, create purposeful MI and automated dashboards that help our business evaluate backbook performance. He/she will also be able to craft appropriate value-adding commentary helping us identify gaps and explore opportunities to maximize revenue opportunities. Accurate production of daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports is a key deliverable with the ability to bring performance to life, identify trends and segment the portfolio using relevant commentary and visual storytelling. Key stakeholders internally include the GR Leadership Team.
About the role
Accountable for the accurate and timely production of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly Business Ops & Partner MI focused on appropriate measures and indicators for the GR business
Supports the Senior Manager for Revenue Assurance & Business Ops in identifying segmentation and growth trends for our existing portfolio base
Effectively support revenue initiatives with data analysis and strategy formulation through understanding the latest hierarchies in place for portfolio analytics
Prioritize multiple ad-hoc requests from a wide range of stakeholders for data, transforming information into a user friendly format
Has a strong focus on adding value through commentary and insight, ensuring all MI produced tells a story e.g. through creation of dashboards, slide decks and scorecards
Collaborate and communicate clearly and confidently with multiple stakeholders at various levels and ensures our reports and commentary support commercial strategies by driving optimal team performance
Production of the Annual Portfolio Review, offering insight into different key business areas split by market verticals to highlight performance over previous year and associated trends
Completion of quarterly mystery shop activities, to evaluate our products and customer service in comparison to our competitors.
Works closely with Customer Success to understand merchant and consumer trends, including behavior and spending habits by vertical. Combines industry and customer insights through confident conversations with existing merchants and competitors.
About you
Bachelor in Business Administration or related field
5+ proven work experience as a Senior Business Analyst or similar role
Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Works well under tight timescales and able to prioritize effectively
Able to manipulate large quantities of data with strong attention to detail
Skilled at ‘making the complex simple’ and the ability to bring data to life with ‘the story’ (especially for non-financial/data users)
Outstanding analytical skills, self-motivated, high performing and goal oriented
Ability to innovate by challenging the status quo and come up with imaginative ways of doing things more effectively
Highly numerate and a PRO user of Excel
Works well both as part of a team or without supervision
Desirable: An understanding of the card payment industry
