What you'll do
Reporting to Manager, Business Systems Analyst, the Senior Business Analyst is responsible for providing business analysis services within an Agile framework. They work closely with the product owner, development team, and stakeholders to ensure that the product meets the needs of the business.
Build, edit, and maintain the team backlog and board
Help Product owner prioritizing backlog items on the basis of user value, time, and other team dependencies determined
Help Product owner managing the backlog to keep it up to date and ready for future iteration
Participate in requirement gathering and create user stories with the guidance from Product Owner
Participate in test case review and proof of testing
Understand the scope of the upcoming Epics and User Stories
Participate in the regression testing process
Provide support during the design, implementation and testing
Help Identify functional and non-functional requirement working with different stakeholders
Works as a liaison of between Product Owner and development team
What You Bring
Requires Bachelor Science or Arts in a Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related discipline and 6-7+ years of business system analysis experience, 4 of which involving complex, strategic programs/projects in a related field.
Lead end-to-end requirements discovery, analysis, and delivery for loyalty program capabilities across loyalty and banking channels and platforms, partnering with business, product, and technology teams to translate objectives into epics/user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
Understand Business Requirements & Data Mapping, clarify business definitions, data ownership, and usage rules for each data element.
Establish and govern BSA documentation standards, templates, and best practices; conduct peer reviews to ensure deliverables are complete, accurate, and consistent; and coordinate allocation of work across the BSA team to balance priorities, capacity, and skill sets.
Lead and support solution design through implementation and testing by facilitating design workshops with internal/external partners and producing detailed design documentation (process flows, routing logic, and business rules) to guide build and validation.
Solid understanding of SAFe methodology; Gherkin/ BDD format and Experience utilizing AI tools.
Strong problem solver with ability to resolve blockers and maintain progress on the solution.
Strong knowledge and experience of Agile and Product Ownership.
Strong use of tools like MS Azure DevOps, Jira, Lucid, SharePoint and Confluence.
Excellent customer understanding related to the squad domain area.
Strong knowledge of the squad’s systems and applications
Strong blend of strategic and tactical thinking
May coach and mentor junior Business Analysts.

Our typical hiring range is between $64,000.00 - $106,000.00 CAD Annual. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
