Senior Business Analyst - Ariba

  • This is a customer facing role which will interact with all levels of leadership. The qualified candidate must be able to communicate effectively in a professional manner with peers, other team members, and clients

  • Serve as senior subject matter expert in the deployment and support of GS&PS’s global Source to Pay strategy

  • Partner with global stakeholders to identify suppliers for enablement on the Ariba platform and lead the technical onboarding and training for the targeted suppliers and catalogs

  • Lead Ariba tool adoption efforts by delivering ongoing end-user training and analyzing non-compliant purchase data to identify new suppliers for enablement

  • Provide on-going Sourcing and Contracting/ Buying and Invoicing improvements, including the ability to generate and analyze complex adhoc reports from the Ariba platform, guide peer team members on improved use of the Ariba tool and assist in developing the knowledge and skillsets of offshore support resources on GS&PS’s sourcing and procurement practices and the Ariba technical design

  • Provide management oversight to offshore teams to align priorities and project deliverables across various ongoing initiatives

  • Demonstrate the ability to operate in a dynamic, cross functional organization and drive transformation efforts across various people, processes and systems

  • Provide support and time sensitive responses to Senior Leadership as requested

  • Manage training and change management documentation for Ariba Sourcing Request, Ariba Sourcing Project, Ariba Contract Workspace, Ariba Buying and Invoicing enhancements and deployments

  • Demonstrate knowledge of cross functional processes and systems that support procurement – i.e. SAP Finance and AP modules and SAP financial and supplier master data management which integrate with Ariba

  • Project manage and drive to completion multiple initiatives, issues and defects in the Ariba space

  • Generate and analyze complex reporting data from various data sources to identify trends and patterns in the data, highlighting key insights and making process improvement recommendations based on the data

  • Manage key data and process updates in the Ariba platform to ensure optimal system and process performance

What we are looking for

  • 4+ years of experience within procurement within a corporate setting.

  • Advanced experience with Ariba.

  • Experience with offshore teams within multiple lines of business.

For positions based in New York, the base salary range is $112,000-139,000. For positions based in New Jersey, the best salary range is $107,000-134,000. In addition, the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
