The Opportunity:
As a key member of the Delivery Capability team, the Senior Business Analyst is responsible for leading and delivering business and systems analysis services associated with tactical and Enterprise projects within the Technology team.
Responsible for leading and executing end to end business analysis activities within projects and programs of work. Working with key stakeholders to plan, scope, manage and define business needs utilising fit for purpose' business analysis activities and deliverables to support delivery of project objectives and business outcomes.
This is a 6-month contingent role.
To do this successfully you will:
- Strong ability to lead and manage end-to-end analysis activities, including requirements development, process improvement, and solution design.
- Proven experience collaborating across business, technology, and operational teams to deliver innovative solutions aligned with organisational goals.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across internal teams and external vendors.
- Leadership capability to coach, mentor, and support team members, driving capability uplift and continuous improvement within the Analysis Centre of Excellence.
- Solid understanding of project methodologies, governance, and risk management practices.
- Ability to identify capability gaps and contribute to frameworks, tools, and processes that enhance analysis practices and project delivery.
Successful applications will have:
- 5–10+ years’ Business Analysis experience delivering large, complex projects.
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and enterprise project governance.
- Proven ability in requirements analysis, process improvement, and capability uplift.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
- Industry certifications in Business Analysis/Agile (preferred).
- Experience in Insurance or Financial Services is highly desirable.
