Portfolio leader of brands Diplomatico, Gin Mare, El Jimador, Woodford Reserve, Slane, Herradura, Scotch whiskey portfolio and Chambord for Czechia and Slovakia. On top of that, the SBM will lead the brand activations of our iconic brand like Jack Daniel’s at the selected partner markets in our CEE region.
Responsible for the top line & bottom line growth of the brands to deliver growth ambition in line with our 10Y strategy. SBM develops brand building strategies and provides tools needed for strategies execution and resources in terms of cooperating partners and agencies. SBM is responsible for performance, engagement & development of Junior Brand Manager and small team of Brand Ambassadors (1 internal, 2 external consultants).
What You Can Expect
Leads development of brand and portfolio strategy of Super Premium Spirits for long-term and mid-term for CZ/SK and selected partner markets from our CEE region. Orchestrates thorough analysis of internal and external business environment (brands performances, market and consumer trends, competition, shopper insights and trade/channel dynamics) in close collaboration with cross functional team consisting of Trade marketing manager, Sales managers, BBI analyst, Global Brand Teams and based on key findings and conclusions recommends focus investment and brand priorities to B-F CZ/SK and Partner markets Leadership Team for mid and long term.
Leads development of brand building strategies of prioritized brands and ensures availability of all tools needed to execute the strategies. Partners with global brand teams to source the communication and activation tools, partners with local agencies in tools adaptation/localization and ensures execution with excellence (from time & quality perspective). Leads the development of yearly media strategies.
Actively drives visibility and engagement of Super Premium brands in the organization and builds a positive reputation of SP brands inside & outside of the local organization . Seeks for opportunities to advertise the brands within CZ/SK organization, Polish organization, on Europe level and with global brand teams, shares the best practices and searches & reapplies best practices in CZ/SK and partner markets. Builds excellent relationships with trade marketing, sales, logistics, BBI and finance to ensure effective execution of brand plans and achievement of established goals. Proactively engages stakeholders at all levels.
Leads & represents SPS in the S&BP process and proactively suggests course corrections. SBM is the key representative of SPS brands in all S&BP processes (business review meeting, activity review meetings, forecast meetings and executive review meetings). Demonstrates deep understanding of business development across channels, fully understands P&L and impacts of activities on P&L of the company and brands and actively engages to deliver short-term SPS targets. SBM actively oversees all marketing (ATL, BTL) activities, learns what’s working and improves what needs to be done better.
Ensures smooth operations. Oversees brand expenses management done by Junior Brand Manager to meet the assigned SPS budgets. Recommends changes of A&P between brands & markets (CZ/SK). Ensures to meet deadlines of start of campaigns/activations (BTL/ATL).
Carefully oversees the budget management of the distributors to ensure healthy and sustainable business
Leads development of Junior Brand Manager andBrand Ambassador. Provides timely performance feedback, facilitates creation of development plan and Fiscal Year objectives for direct report. Actively contributes to setting fiscal objectives of indirect reports as well as provides timely feedback to performance.
What You Bring to the Table
7 years of experience in Brand Management with proven track record in FMCG or luxury goods
Demonstrated strong business acumen & entrepreneurial thinking with strategic mindset and envisioning
Demonstrated sound analytical skills with proven track record of identifying key insights and ability to translate findings of analysis into conclusions & strategies
Provides proven track record of brand management and in navigating portfolio complexity
Demonstrated excellent communication skills and strong ability to proactively engage stakeholders at all levels
Demonstrated accurate self insight combined with a strong agility/ability to adapt to and support change with strong organizational skills
Demonstrated strong prioritizations skills with proven track record to deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Fluent English and Czech or Slovak
