CATEGORY'S INTRODUCTION
Pakistan Home Care is a €132m business and commands the leadership position in Top Tier detergent with Surf Excel. It operates with 6 brands (Surf Excel, Sunlight, Rin, Comfort, Vim Dishwash and Domex). Currently Unilever Pakistan is the fastest growing manufacturer in the organized sector in Pakistan. Since 2024 Unilever Pakistan Home Care has completely transformed its strategy to drive unrelentless volume growth backed through strong innovation and disruptive in market executions.
JOB PURPOSE
SBM Sunlight and H&H position is responsible for driving consumer demand and achieving business objectives in Pakistan. This role will lead brand equity, communication & engagement strategy to improve brand power in the market for both Sunlight and H&H (Vim in particular)
As lead for Sunlight and H&H this role is pivotal in translating business strategy into actionable marketing plans, leading demand creation teams, driving multi-year scalable innovations and championing a digital-first, social-first approach to brand building and consumer engagement. Further, it includes owning the brand performance, developing the brand strategy, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver growth, profitability and shared targets for the brand.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following key areas:
• Translate the Business Unit's strategic vision into comprehensive Brand Marketing Plans specifically tailored for the market, acting as the guardian of these plans and ensuring their effective implementation to deliver growth across channels.
• Oversee all Demand Creation activities for Sunlight and H&H in Pakistan, encompassing advertising campaigns, consumer engagement initiatives, Direct-to-Consumer strategies, and the execution of global and local brand innovations.
• Drive consumer insights generation, data analytics, content development, strategic partnerships, and the planning and execution of in-market experiential events across both Sunlight and H&H portfolio.
• Build and enhance capabilities within the market in social-first marketing and the evolving media landscape. Act as a driving force and guardian for the quality and consistency of execution across all channels.
• Collaborate closely with the DMC lead to develop impactful brand assets, create compelling content, and amplify brand messaging across digital and retail platforms in the market.
• Lead the Digital Marketing agenda, provide stewardship to plan and deliver seamless, engaging digital consumer experiences and campaigns.
• Work closely with CSP organization to ensure in market executions are up to the mark to help deliver the growth agenda. Constantly look for opportunities to extend the brand visibility and footprint (retail or otherwise).
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
Experiences & Qualifications
• At least 8 years of overall experience; of which 2 years of Brand Manager expereince is required. Candidates with relevant category expereince will be preferred.
• Strong business acumen and proven experience in marketing, with a strong emphasis on social first demand generation, brand building and digital marketing within the category.
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing integrated marketing plans that align with business objectives, drive consumer demand, and deliver measurable results.
• Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, tactics, and best practices, including social media marketing, influencer marketing, content marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), and paid advertising.
• Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop high performing marketing teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
• Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams, including customer development, product development, finance, and creative agencies, to achieve shared goals.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing marketing budgets, tracking ROI, and optimizing campaign spending.
