Job Summary

The Senior Branch Technical Support Officer will be responsible for providing advanced technical assistance and support to ensure the smooth operation of Advanced Wireless Network Company Limited's branch offices. This role involves troubleshooting complex issues, maintaining network infrastructure, and supporting end-users to optimize system performance and reliability.

Job Description

* Provide advanced-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues at assigned branch locations.
* Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems, including server issues, network connectivity, and application malfunctions.
* Install, configure, and maintain network equipment, including routers, switches, access points, and firewalls.
* Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and upgrades to ensure optimal performance and security.
* Manage and administer local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) within branch offices.
* Provide training and guidance to junior technical staff and end-users on IT systems and best practices.
* Collaborate with central IT teams to implement new systems, policies, and security measures.
* Document technical issues, resolutions, and procedures for knowledge sharing and future reference.
* Ensure compliance with company IT policies, security protocols, and industry standards.
* Participate in on-call rotation for critical technical support outside of regular business hours.

Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT technical support, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
* Proven expertise in network administration (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs).
* Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
* Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
* Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware components (desktops, laptops, servers, printers) and software applications.
* Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
* Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNA, MCSE) are highly desirable.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
