Position Summary You will join our Singapore manufacturing team as a Biotechnologist / Senior Biotechnologist-2. You will support and lead end-to-end biological manufacturing activities, working closely with supervisors, engineers and quality colleagues. Responsibilities This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following: - Run and oversee batch operations for biological processes, following controlled procedures and safety rules. - Prepare and supply media, buffers and materials and manage material flow for production runs. - Lead equipment setup, changeovers, commissioning and qualification tasks and document results clearly. - Maintain accurate production and batch records, support investigations and implement corrective actions. - Drive process improvements, troubleshoot operational issues and support technology transfer activities. - Participate in safety checks, environmental monitoring and maintain good housekeeping to meet compliance. Why You? Basic Qualification We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals: - Degree or Diploma in biotechnology, chemical engineering, life sciences, or a related field. - At least 3 years hands-on experience in biotech or biopharmaceutical production for Biotechnologist; 5+ years preferred for Senior Biotechnologist-2. - Practical experience with fermentation, purification (chromatography/filtration), buffer/media preparation or aseptic operations. - Clear spoken and written English and strong record-keeping habits. - Able to work on-site full time in Singapore. This role is on-site. - Willingness to work within regulated manufacturing environments and follow safety and cGMP requirements. Preferred Qualification If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: - Experience leading production activities, commissioning or technology transfers in a regulated environment. - Familiarity with good manufacturing practice, quality systems and deviation/CAPA handling. - Basic knowledge of process control systems, alarms management and production IT tools. - Experience with root cause analysis, troubleshooting and continuous improvement methods. - Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma or other operational excellence tools. - Strong teamwork, communication and coaching skills to support junior colleagues. Work Arrangement This role is on-site in Singapore. Typical hours follow assigned shift or day shift schedules depending on operational needs.
