As a Senior Behavioural Science Analyst, you will play a key role in embedding behavioural science across Santander at a global scale. You will apply behavioural principles, frameworks, data analysis, and experimentation to understand real-world behaviour and design interventions that deliver better outcomes for customers and the business.

Santander is looking for a Senior Behavioural Science Analyst based in our Boadilla del Monte (Madrid) office..

- Applying a behavioural science perspective to analyse and draw key insights from various journeys, communications and other bank related materials and strategies.
- Designing and delivering behavioural science interventions, including: research, design, implementation, experimentation and evaluation, together with relevant teams.
- Working closely with data, product, marketing, business, HR and AI teams to embed behavioural insights into everyday decision-making.
- Communicating insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders through clear, evidence-based storytelling.
- Contributing to the embedding of behavioural science methodologies, tools and best practices across Santander, contributing to methodology improvements.
- Supporting behavioural science capability building across the organisation, infusing the proper implementation of the discipline across multidisciplinary teams.
- Overseeing Behavioural Science application in the multiple projects carried out across the bank, providing strategic direction and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Staying up to date with the latest trends and relevant innovations in the field.
- Providing expert advice to senior stakeholders on how to integrate behavioral science into banking strategies.
- Acting as a trusted partner to the business, ensuring interventions are effective, ethical and aligned with internal controls and risk standards.

Professional Experience
- Min. 3–6 years of experience.
- Provable applied behavioural science expertise, ideally in financial services.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Behavioural Science, Psychology, Economics, Data Science or a related discipline.
Languages
Hard Skills
- Expertise in behavioral economics, cognitive psychology, and decision-making processes.
- Strong understanding of behavioural science frameworks (e.g. COM-B, EAST, Mindspace) and experimental methods.
- Experience working with data and experimentation.
- Ability to translate BeSci theory into practical, business-ready solutions.
- Familiarity with tools such as R, Python, SQL or analytics platforms is a plus.
Soft Skills
