Job Description & Summary

Reporting to the Director of Solutions Architecture, within our Products & Technology organization, the Senior Azure AI Solution Architect will provide the opportunity to invest in new business models that leverage our knowledge and design technology solutions for the growing digital market. Each new solution focuses on data-driven platforms or other intellectual property-based solutions that leverage emerging technologies and new business models. Through the process of designing new solutions, we foster a culture of innovation within PwC, extend brand relevance in the market, and generate new revenue.

Meaningful work you’ll be part of  

As a Senior Azure AI Solution Architect, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  

• Solution technology projects executed by Development teams  
• Provide technical guidance regarding tools, frameworks, and platforms  
• Design and optimize Azure application and infrastructure architectures  
• Lead the development and deployment of AI solutions  
• Be actively involved in business development activities to identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients.  
• Support the Enterprise Architecture processes  
• Shape and deliver digital products to meet clients' expectations 
• Assist Enterprise Architects in assessing technology solutions 
• Participate in business development activities  
• Supervise and support Vendor’s developers  
• Execute periodical code reviews 

Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve  

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering  
• Azure solution Architect and Azure Developer certifications preferred  
• Experience working in agile teams and product delivery  
• Enterprise level solutions with a cloud-first approach  
• Proficiency in Azure services and tools like Azure DevOps  
• Exposure to working with leading Azure AI technologies like Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI Service, and Azure Databricks 
• AI development frameworks and their deployment on Azure  
• Building scalable AI assets that can be utilized through low / no-code platforms such as Copilot Studio  
• Understanding of application design and integration with Azure infrastructure  
• Service-oriented, event-driven, and microservices architectures  and knowledge regarding AI technologies is highly desirable  
• This role does not require professional engineering licensure and is not classified as a formal engineering position under provincial regulatory definitions. While individuals with a P.Eng designation are welcome to apply, the responsibilities of this role do not involve the practice of professional engineering as defined by applicable legislation

The salary range for this position is $137,600 - $187,600. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.  We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
