Senior Automation Infrastructure Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Automation Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing team. Our team delivers and maintains automation-based systems and solutions which provide for flexible, innovative, cost effective, and quality-focused manufacturing of our life-changing medications.

As a Senior Automation Infrastructure Engineer, a typical day might include the following:

  • Supervising and maintaining the following automation systems:
    • Supervisory Control and data acquisition systems
    • Site Historian Systems
    • Advanced Analytical applications
    • Asset management systems
    • Thin Client Server systems
    • Windows and Linux Server Operating systems
    • Process Area Networks
    • SQL Databases
    • Virtualization environments
  • Supporting the validation of automation systems with QA Validation.
  • Providing coordination of infrastructure projects between automation, systems, facilities, IT, and QA
  • Providing automation technical knowledge for troubleshooting, investigations and training.
  • Providing automation system application support including installation and rebuilds.
  • Providing system design for data integrity, stability and interface between different systems.
  • Ensuring effective maintenance and availability of automation equipment.
  • Leading the technical optimization and compliance of automation systems.
  • Creating, modifying, and maintaining automation system documentation and SOPs in a compliant state.
  • Working with plant automation technicians and engineers.

This role might be for you if you:

  • Have networking experience, specifically with Cisco switches and firewalls
  • Are experienced with the setup and management of high security environments
  • Are experienced in the design, configuration, programming, and qualification of OT infrastructure and applications

To be considered for this position you ideally will have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering and the following minimum years of relevant experience for each level. Experience with cGMP and validation pertaining to biopharmaceutical production operations and computerized systems is highly desirable.

  • Senior Engineer: 5+ years
  • Principal Engineer: 8+ years

Salary Range (annually)

$88,300.00 - $168,500.00
