SUMMARY Q2 is seeking a senior-level Application Analyst responsible for the support, configuration, and strategic enhancement of software-as-a-service (SaaS) and enterprise applications that support data collection, accessibility, and usage across internal departments. This role performs advanced configuration, leads complex reporting and integration efforts, and plays a key role in system governance, performance optimization, and process improvement. The analyst serves as a subject matter expert and partner to business units, guiding the effective use of technology in planning, operations, and decision-making. The position also contributes to the development of standards, policies, and cross-functional technology strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES • Lead the configuration, administration, and optimization of SaaS and enterprise applications across multiple departments • Manage large-scale or complex application enhancements, including requirement gathering, testing, implementation, and user support • Perform advanced system setups, including workflow automation, data architecture design, and rule-based configurations • Ensure the integrity, security, and accuracy of data across application databases and reporting environments • Develop and maintain complex queries, reports, and dashboards to support business strategy, compliance, and operations • Oversee user access, security roles, and compliance with enterprise governance policies • Provide guidance and training to users and junior analysts on system functionality, processes, and best practices • Troubleshoot and resolve high-level or cross-system issues, collaborating with technical teams and vendors as needed • Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging technology to streamline business processes • Collaborate with leadership and business stakeholders to align system capabilities with strategic objectives • Contribute to the development and enforcement of application standards, documentation practices, and support protocols EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field and a minimum of 8 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 6+ years of experience • Extensive experience supporting, configuring, and optimizing SaaS and enterprise-level applications • Deep knowledge of business process design, workflow configuration, and data modeling within enterprise systems • Proven experience with data analysis and reporting using tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms • Demonstrated ability to lead system upgrades, integrations, and migrations with minimal supervision • Strong understanding of application governance, user access control, and data security best practices • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to manage escalations and cross-functional issues • Effective communicator with the ability to influence and guide stakeholders at all levels • Experience mentoring junior team members and contributing to knowledge-sharing initiatives • Highly organized, self-driven, and comfortable leading projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
