Your day at NTT DATA
As a Senior Associate Software Solutions Architect at NTT DATA, you'll be an integral part of our team, leveraging your extensive cross-domain knowledge to create and maintain our clients' IT infrastructure software solutions. Your day will be spent designing complex infrastructure software solutions and collaborating closely with our architectural consulting function to bring these designs to life.
You will provide multi-technology advice and ensure the seamless operation of various software and hardware components. Your role includes defining high-level structures that enable integrated solutions, designing to meet both present and future business needs, and monitoring the implementation of these solutions to ensure they align with our standards.
Engaging directly with clients and internal teams, you'll use business requirements to design, deploy, and operate infrastructure software while ensuring compliance with licensing and budget constraints. Your expertise will be essential in defining communication pathways between our business and vendors to deliver effective software solutions within budget and maintain licensing compliance.
You'll also support the continuous improvement of our internal methodologies, processes, and tools, contributing valuable insights that drive efficiency. Engaging in the planning and governance of projects, you'll play a key role from inception to completion, ensuring that client needs are met and that our solutions deliver tangible results.
Additionally, your Responsibilities will involve managing software asset and license lifecycles, including tracking, reporting, auditing, and renewal processes. You'll stay current on software licensing rules and regulations to offer solutions and prevent non-conformance, ensuring that our software licensing practices are efficient and compliant with industry standards.
To thrive in this role, you need to have:- Proficiency in designing IT architectures using client business requirements.
- Experience with software licensing models (e.g., Perpetual, Subscription, Enterprise Agreements).
- Good knowledge of key vendors' licensing models (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, Palo Alto).
- Experience in managing software assets and ensuring compliance with licensing regulations.
- Experience in digital infrastructure and providing end-to-end design solutions.
- Familiarity with financial concepts related to software license and contract management.
- Ability to translate complex technical terms into straightforward, easy-to-understand language.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- A bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field.
