As a Senior Associate – Quality Engineering, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of a service delivery model supporting assigned platforms through a predefined framework. You will be involved in the development of quality engineering test cases/suites to validate and verify delivery of system artifacts in accordance with customer needs.

Key responsibilities:

  • Hands-on implementation of test automation and performance testing tools and frameworks.
  • In the role of an architect, oversee the implementation of automation frameworks and performance testing tools.
  • Design test cases using test case optimization techniques.
  • Proof of Concept – Evaluate various technologies and tools, performing a proof of concept in each, and define the recommended solution.
  • Gathers usage patterns and actual production transaction metrics of various applications to derive test patterns and transforms them into usable tests.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate issue resolution with operations, functional, and technical teams
  • Define and revise (if needed) metric/performance reporting under directions from Engineering Management to ensure viability of service levels
  • Provide mentoring and coaching to Sr Associate, Associates and Jr Associate testers
     

What we require:

  • B.E. / B.Tech. / MCA in Computer Science, Engineering or related field is required.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Development. Minimum of 4 years in test automation.
  • Must be a problem solver with demonstrated experience in solving difficult technology challenges, with a can-do attitude
  • Self-starter with ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage workload, and consistently deliver results
  • Experience in Agile and Iterative development methodologies
  • Strong communication skills with ability to interact with developers and product stakeholders globally
  • This role requires the resource to work from office for 5 days in a week.


Technical areas of expertise:

  • Experience with using test management systems like HP ALM, Jira, Zephyr etc.
  • Strong background in test writing to provide full spectrum testing
    • Functional Stability, Performance Reliability, System Resource Utilization, Usability
  • Experience in testing web-based and Cloud solutions
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including creation and monitoring of multiple QA environments
  • Background in working with product stakeholders to organize, develop and execute User Acceptance Tests
  • Modelling experience for system execution workflows (e.g. UML Activity Diagrams) to aid in full system test coverage
  • Ability to utilize issue tracking analysis to identify focus areas of improvement based on quality assurance findings
