Job Summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a detail-oriented Account Setup Specialist to join our Commercial Operations team. This role is the vital link between our Sales team and our ERP systems. You will be responsible for reviewing contractual documents submitted via Salesforce, verifying compliance, and accurately configuring new customer accounts and pricing structures.

The position is challenging and requires a high-energy professional with solid contract management skills. You must be able to think strategically while acting tactically to ensure that every new customer account is "audit-ready" and setup for successful billing and service delivery.

What You’ll Do

Contract Review & Account Configuration

  • Gatekeeping & Compliance: Examine all relevant information and inquiries received through Salesforce to determine if all required legal and operational documents are present for account creation.

  • ERP Data Management: Execute the technical setup of customer accounts in the ERP system, including the precise entry of complex service pricing and contract details.

  • Document Lifecycle: Finalize the setup process by ensuring all verified contractual documents are correctly uploaded and indexed within DRCi.

Sales & Stakeholder Support

  • Process Advocacy: Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, providing guidance and instruction on proper procedures for account setup and documentation requirements.

  • Sales Partnership: Provide high-level support to both inside and outside sales teams, acting as a consultant to ensure all necessary data is captured correctly the first time.

  • Pipeline Management: Maintain regular follow-ups on pending cases to ensure faster turnaround times and meet departmental Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Problem Resolution & Strategy

  • Inquiry Research: Research and action customer or internal inquiries on a contract basis, making informed decisions within established company guidelines.

  • Tactical Execution: Identify bottlenecks in the onboarding process and work collaboratively to resolve issues before they impact the customer experience.

What You’ll Bring

  • Technical Proficiency: * Expert keyboarding skills with a focus on speed and accuracy of data input.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Salesforce and ERP systems is highly preferred.

  • Contractual Acumen: Solid understanding of contract management and the ability to translate legal/contractual language into system-driven pricing models.

  • Communication Excellence: Strong verbal and written communication skills with "sound reading comprehension" to interpret complex emails and instructions.

  • Analytical Mindset: Exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills with a "superior level of attention to detail."

  • Soft Skills: High energy, a positive "teamwork-driven" attitude, and the diplomacy needed to work across multiple internal departments.

Success Measures

  • Turnaround Time (TAT): Meeting or exceeding speed targets for account activation following a Sales submission.

  • Data Accuracy: Zero-error rate in pricing and account configuration within the ERP.

  • Document Compliance: 100% adherence to document filing requirements in DRCi.

  • Stakeholder Satisfaction: Positive feedback from the Sales organization regarding support and clarity of communication.
