The Role
Cloud Infrastructure Monitoring and Operations
Perform continuous monitoring of AWS and Azure infrastructures to ensure system health and availability.
Review and analyze alerts, notifications, and performance metrics to identify potential issues.
Create and manage incident and service request tickets in the support system.
Perform routine operational and maintenance activities as per defined procedures.
Respond to and act on alerts generated by monitoring tools for both AWS and Azure environments.
Ensure timely communication and escalation of critical issues to peers and management.
Incident and Problem Management
Troubleshoot and resolve L2-level issues related to cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and configuration.
Collaborate with cloud architecture and platform teams for issue resolution and optimization.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring incidents.
Take proactive and reactive measures to prevent future incidents and improve system reliability.
Maintenance and Optimization
Perform patching, updates, and configuration reviews for cloud instances.
Ensure resource utilization and cost optimization in alignment with business policies.
Participate in capacity planning and scaling activities.
Maintain and update documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles for cloud support activities.
Who You Are

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
4–7 years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure Support (Azure and AWS).
Hands-on experience with AWS Console, Azure Portal, and monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor).
Strong understanding of VM management, storage, and networking in cloud environments.
Experience in handling incident, request, and problem management processes.
Familiarity with ITIL framework and ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.).
Good communication and analytical skills.
Willingness to work in 24x7 rotational support shifts.
