Job Description:
Brown University Athletics & Recreation is seeking a high-caliber, forward-thinking leader to serve as the Senior Associate Director of Athletics, Business Office and Revenue Generation/CFO.
In this pivotal role, you will serve as the Division’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Strategic Revenue Officer. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will act as the primary architect of the Division’s financial future and the lead strategist for revenue growth. This dual mandate requires a leader who can balance the rigor of multi-year fiscal modeling with the creative energy needed to drive new income streams through ticketing, marketing, and external events. This position oversees the long-term planning and daily management of financial activities for 45+ cost centers, ensuring that budget allocations directly support student-athlete welfare, gender equity, and competitive excellence.

All division employees are required to demonstrate exemplary ethical conduct and conformance to NCAA rules and regulations; the duties of the position are to be performed in compliance with all NCAA, Ivy League rules and regulations; and any rules violations on behalf of themselves or any knowledge of violations within the division are to be reported to the compliance office and appropriate parties.
Employees in coaching positions must receive annual rules education on NCAA legislation related to recruiting by the compliance office and maintain current AED/CPR and First Aid certification (certification is available at no cost through the Division).
