The Senior Associate, Corporate Communications will be responsible for supporting the Senior Manager (Corporate Communications) in executing public relations campaigns for exhibitions, events, and the Centre’s various attractions. Key duties include developing media content, managing media relationships, and ensuring consistent brand messaging across all communications. The ideal candidate should be adept at crafting compelling press releases, media pitches, and content for diverse platforms. The role also involves coordinating media visits, handling media interviews, and responding to press inquiries, ensuring that all communications align with the Centre’s broader strategic objectives.
In addition, the Senior Associate, Corporate Communications will assist in content creation and management for the Centre’s digital communications efforts. This includes writing copy for email marketing campaigns (eDM), social media platforms, and internal communications, as well as managing the Centre’s digital marketing initiatives. The role also entails measuring campaign performance through analytics tools and providing insights to optimise future communications strategies. The Senior Associate will be expected to maintain a high level of consistency in all communications materials and ensure that content aligns with the Centre's brand positioning.
Internal communications and stakeholder engagement are also vital aspects of the role. The Senior Associate, Corporate Communications will liaise with both internal teams and external stakeholders to harmonise strategic communications plans and ensure that messaging is consistent across all channels. The role also involves managing the Centre’s media relations and supporting crisis communications efforts, such as assisting with the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for crisis management.
[What we are looking for]
We seek a proactive communications professional with a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations, or related field, and 2-3 years of experience in public relations, media relations, marketing communications, corporate communications, or journalism.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellence in stakeholder management, possess strong spoken and written communication skills (additional languages advantageous), and have working knowledge of generative AI tools and Adobe Creative Suite.
Essential competencies include mastery of social media platforms, digital communication ecosystems, AI tools, and data analytics, with established media and KOL networks.
The role requires strategic thinking, ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments, flexibility for after-hours events, and comprehensive understanding of digital marketing campaigns with proven LinkedIn and website content management experience.
