What is the opportunity?

This 12-month Fixed Term contract is to support the Fund Investor Ops & Client Data team.  The Senior Associate is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, an operational usability of client and investor data across the firm’s system and processes.  The role acts as a key control point between Sales, Operations, Transfer Agents and Platforms, ensuring that client information is complete, reconciled, and fit for both operational and commercial use.  The individual will also support the Fund Investor Operations workflows and controls.

RBC’s expectation is that all employees and contractors will work in the office with some flexibility to work up to 1 day per week remotely, depending on working arrangements.

What will you do?

Data Reconciliation & Maintenance

  • Reconcile internal sales and distribution data with third party sources (transfer agent, platform and distributors). Identify and resolve data inconsistencies between internal systems.
  • Act as a key contributor to the implementation and adoption of the Fund Distribution Management System, supporting design, testing, data loading, and user acceptance.

System load and accuracy

  • Load, review and maintain high quality data across internal data platforms.  Liaise with internal and external vendors to ensure timely updates and completeness of data.

Fund Investor Operation support

  • Assist in BAU tasks such as trade approvals, sales support, and AuM reporting.

Process Documentation

  • Update and maintain internal process documentation to ensure continuity. Contribute to procedural and efficiency improvements where appropriate.

Operational efficiency & data management

  • Work with Fund Distribution team and Fund Investor Operations team to streamline platform processes, improve data accuracy, and enhance reporting capabilities

What do you need to succeed?

Must have

  • Knowledge of the financial services industry, segregated assets and UCITs funds and products.
  • Proven experience in a related business function (e.g., implementation/client support/service team).
  • Digitally savvy with good understanding of CRM tools, proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented; ability to multitask in fast-paced environment.

  • Self-motivated and able to work under pressure in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • A track record of managing deadlines and delivering with a client first mind-set.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate with others across the business.
