ROLE SUMMARY

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with procurement specialists to negotiate contracts with suppliers for goods, services, and supplies.

  • Oversee category management, procure necessary items for operations, and manage corporate services.

  • Ensure supplier relations align with company values and comply with procurement policies and procedures.

  • Identify and implement improvements in procurement processes, tools, policies, and procedures for efficiency.

  • Interface with Pfizer Procurement groups to align with pre-established strategies and support local sourcing initiatives.

  • Manage and support rapid resolution of supplier quality and material issues, and mediate service-related issues with stakeholders.

  • Assure compliance with corporate policies, local policies, Good Manufacturing Practices, Environment, Health & Safety standards, and Sarbanes-Oxley.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of experience or associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience or BA/BS with 2+ years of experience or MBA/MS with any years of relevant experience  

  • Demonstrated experience in procurement or finance discipline, ideally within a large, complex multi-national company

  • In-depth experience of strategic sourcing, category management, and strategic supplier management

  • Advanced use of analytical tools along with good problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Strong negotiating techniques and knowledge of procurement procedures

  • Client engagement and customer relationship management skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Relevant pharmaceutical experience

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure

  
Work Location Assignment: On Premise

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $71,800.00 to $119,600.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary.
