What you’ll do:

Business Operations enables SoFi’s teams to scale faster and operate more efficiently. We’re looking for a data-driven, highly organized problem solver to join our Technology Business Operations team.

You’ll partner closely with Technology, Product, and BizOps leaders to support core operating processes and strengthen how we plan, prioritize, and execute. This role is ideal for someone who brings structure to complexity, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys enabling teams to operate with clarity and impact.

What you’ll do:

  • Support the execution and continuous improvement of core operating rhythms across the Technology organization (e.g., staff meetings, leadership meetings, quarterly reviews, all-hands).
  • Partner with Technology and Business Operations leaders on key management deliverables, including annual and quarterly planning, goal setting/tracking, and team-level reporting/presentations.
  • Coordinate with Finance and People teams on T&E budgeting, headcount planning/allocations, and capitalization processes.
  • Manage vendor workflows including onboarding, purchase order creation, and invoice processing.
  • Develop and maintain templates, tools, and lightweight processes that improve clarity, accountability, and operational efficiency across teams.
  • Act as a connector between Technology divisions and partner organizations (e.g., Finance, People), ensuring smooth information flow and alignment.
  • Support culture, engagement, and team-wide initiatives; contribute to special projects as needed.

What you’ll need:

  • 3+ years of experience in Business Operations, Program/Project Management, or team support roles.
  • Experience working with Technology or Engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to support central processes within a complex or matrixed organization.
  • Strong operational and organizational skills — able to identify issues early, escalate appropriately, and drive toward solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable working cross-functionally.
  • Strong project and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel and Slides.
  • High attention to detail, follow-through, and a collaborative working style.

Nice to have:

  • Experience working in a matrixed or high-growth technology organization.
  • Familiarity with Jira and / or Confluence.
  • Background in FinTech, banking  or technology business operations.
