We are seeking a Senior Associate to join Brookfield Properties in Dallas, TX. In this role, you will play a key role in inspiring change and continual improvement. If you are committed to excellence and ready to contribute to a dynamic culture, we would love to meet you.
The Senior Associate will help drive portfolio performance through lease underwriting, oversight of third-party property management teams, coordination of tenant improvement projects, execution of dispositions, quarterly portfolio valuation and reforecasting, and support for acquisition and development underwriting, while collaborating closely with leasing, development, and investment teams. Acting as a bridge between Analysts and senior leadership, the position plays an important role in executing asset-level strategy and supporting the continued growth and performance of the Central U.S. portfolio.
Drive value creation through active asset management of the Central U.S. industrial portfolio
Lead lease underwriting, financial analysis, and support lease negotiations for new and renewal transactions
Manage third-party leasing brokers and oversee leasing strategy, prospect pipeline, and vacancy positioning
Monitor lease expirations, leasing activity, and asset performance using portfolio management tools (e.g., VTS)
Oversee tenant improvements and capital projects in coordination with capital projects and property management teams
Manage tenant and broker relationships and support resolution of tenant credit, collections, and operational issues
Oversee property management performance, facility operations, and asset standards across the portfolio
Support annual business plans, budgets, and quarterly reforecasting in partnership with the FP&A team
Conduct asset valuations, hold/sell analyses, and disposition execution for individual assets and portfolios
Prepare portfolio reporting and performance updates for senior management and ownership
Provide market insights and underwriting support for acquisitions and development opportunities
Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of analysts and associates
Maintain relationships with industrial brokers, tenants, and market participants across Central U.S. markets
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or related field; MBA preferred
5–7 years of commercial real estate experience, preferably in industrial/logistics asset management
Strong financial modeling, underwriting, and analytical skills
Experience with Argus, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with VTS and Yardi preferred
Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and operate with limited supervision
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
Familiarity with Texas and Central U.S. industrial markets preferred
Willingness to travel periodically across the assigned region
