What is the opportunity?

This 14-month Fixed Term contract is to support the Fund Distribution and Platforms team during a maternity leave period.  Responsible for coordinating the creation and amendment of legal agreements related to the distribution of RBC BlueBay and RBC Equity Fund ranges. Collaborate closely with RBC BlueBay Global Business Development (GBD) regions, RBC US sales team, and GAM Inc teams in Canada, as well as with various Transfer Agents (TAs) and external parties to ensure timely delivery and exemplary service. Part of the Client Experience area to enhance all aspects of the client journey.

RBC’s expectation is that all employees and contractors will work in the office with some flexibility to work up to 1 day per week remotely, depending on working arrangements.

What will you do?

  • Coordinate the setup or amendment of legal documentation, including but not limited to platform agreements, distribution agreements, introducer agreements, side letters, and complex rebate arrangements. Ensure all internal and external stakeholders are updated on the status and timelines. Proofread, review, and edit documentation as needed.
  • Maintain day-to-day relationships with fund Transfer Agents (TAs) and proactively improve and develop the operational structure and dealing setup of the funds. This includes interaction with functions such as shareholder services, dealing, onboarding, and rebate processing.
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders, including the Sales team (Global Business Development), Product Development, the Management Company (ManCo), and infrastructure teams (e.g., Legal, Client Data, Fund Accounting, Finance, IT, and Compliance) to manage and deliver agreed requirements. Manage communications with both internal and external parties.
  • Work closely with other members under the Fund Investment Operations umbrella to ensure full coverage of the workflow pipeline, platform reconciliation and to promote knowledge sharing in an environment of continuous improvement.
  • Participating in, or leading projects to advance the team as required.

What do you need to succeed?

Must have

  • Knowledge of the financial services industry, segregated assets and UCITs funds and products.
  • Proven experience in a related business function (e.g., implementation/client support/service team).
  • Digitally savvy with good understanding of CRM tools, proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented; ability to multitask in fast-paced environment.
  • Salesforce experience desirable
