Senior Art Director, Creative and Design

How we LEAD:
The REPUBLIC Collective is looking for a Senior Art Director, Creative & Design to join their Creative Collective department and contribute to the creative campaigns for the artists on our roster.

How you’ll CREATE:

  • Provide art direction across campaigns, release artwork, artist imaging, packaging, marketing assets and other materials for the REPUBLIC Collective label artist roster
  • Hands-on design of (but not limited to) release artwork, music packaging, marketing collateral, social assets, internal communications, mood boards and presentations
  • Commission photo shoots and negotiate rates for photographers, stylists, make-up artists, and hair stylists; and manage shoot budgets
  • Provide art direction to internal and freelance creative talent such as designers, animators, directors and photographers
  • Work collaboratively internally and externally to bring artist vision and campaign narratives to life
  • Ensure timely delivery of assets and management of deadlines
  • Bring knowledge and understanding of culture, music, trends and the current creative landscape

Bring your VIBE:

  • 3-7 years’ experience
  • Robust portfolio demonstrating a mastery of art direction, design, branding, communication and storytelling
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite design software, in particular Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator (After Effects & Premiere are a plus)
  • Hands-on design skills demonstrating a range of visual styles and experience conceptualizing and designing for print, including packaging
  • Experience working directly with talent and creators to collaborate on campaigns
  • Strong project management skills: experience with high-volume workloads and managing multiple projects in parallel
  • Must be self-motivated, proactive, and have the ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to receive and act on constructive feedback given in the creative process
  • Strong communication, interpersonal skills and ability to interface with different departments, as well as leadership across the organization and with artist teams
  • Passion for music
