GE Appliances’ Senior Area Sales Manager (ASM) is responsible for all outside sales activities within assigned ABC Warehouse trading area (primarily MI but includes parts of IN and OH, covering 43 ABC Warehouse locations). Candidate will support managing the frontend to backend sales experience from executing floor merchandising, sales training, and pricing/promotional strategies; support managing distribution and fulfillment, meet with the ABC Warehouse Buying Team, and day-to-day support of ABC Warehouse’s Sales Associates. Also, handling customer service aspects of the business. Territory also includes managing a small mix of Independent Dealers. Primary focus of role is covering the ABC Warehouse ($50m GEA customer) locations as well as working on ABC Warehouse’s GEA sales strategy and execution with GEA Principal ASM on the ABC Warehouse account.RESPONSIBILITIES:
Selling and promoting appliances to ABC Warehouse and territory independent dealers.
Executing and delivering sales and margin operating plan.
Developing and executing merchandising/promotional strategies and programming within the ABC Warehouse account and independent dealers to drive sell-through and account profitability.
Quantitative sales expertise, ability to run ROI reports, calculate margin and delta scenarios.
Preparing presentations and developing sales materials to lead product sales training for customers.
Creating a variety of status reports including activity, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
Resolving customer issues in a timely and accurate manner.
Traveling to ABC Warehouse store locations and dealer locations within the territory.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of sales experience
Residency in or willingness to relocate to SE Michigan
Proven negotiation skills with a track record of driving sales results
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
Strong initiative and ability to work independently; self-motivated and results-driven
Ability and willingness to travel throughout assigned territory
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated success building, executing, and optimizing territory sales plans
Strong relationship-building skills with customers and internal business partners
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Experience in GE Appliances sales, or in appliances/retail sales industries
Knowledge of sales promotion, marketing, and merchandising strategies
