Senior/Staff Application Engineer-Military Marine
The position centers on designing and implementing control code for military marine power plants, including generator synchronization, load sharing, load shedding, and fault‑management functions. It also includes developing operator‑facing HMIs in Ignition and driving clear, testable requirements through full lifecycle requirements management. The position works closely with cross‑functional teams and customers to deliver reliable, mission‑critical power‑management solutions.
Senior: Estimated annual base pay: $93,000-$121,000
Staff: Estimated annual base pay: $113,000-147,000

Senior Application Engineer:
Key Responsibilities:
- Application Maintenance: Fully proficient with application software and associated operator interface/HMI software to support test setups, debug recommendations, and software changes.
- Advanced Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves intricate technical challenges by analyzing multiple information sources and applying innovative solutions.
- Application Processes: Supports the commercial group in proposal creation, technical support of commercial offers, and customer presentations. Creates product specifications, software and application literature for Minor Scope Projects/Systems.
- Project Management: Leads small to medium sized engineering projects, coordinating resources and timelines to achieve project objectives.
- Technical Leadership: Guides the design and implementation of complex application systems, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards.

- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in primary and related technical domains, adept with a range of technologies.
