The Senior Application Architect designs and develops IT applications architecture solutions to business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards. The Senior Application Architect work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior Application Architect specializing in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to join our technology team. This role requires a strong background in AEM, including Content Fragment Models (CFMs), modals, and related features. The ideal candidate will possess moderate proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js for custom logic, integrations, and headless commerce implementations, as well as moderate expertise in HTML, CSS, and jQuery for front-end development and UI customization.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and architecture of solutions using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including CFMs, modals, and related components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable and secure application architectures.
  • Implement custom logic and integrations utilizing JavaScript and Node.js, supporting headless commerce and API-driven solutions.
  • Guide front-end development efforts, ensuring effective UI customization with HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
  • Ensure architectural best practices and standards are followed throughout project lifecycle.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and support to development teams.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance application performance and maintainability.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including CFMs, modals, and associated features.

  • Moderate proficiency with JavaScript and Node.js for application logic and integrations.
  • Moderate proficiency in HTML, CSS, and jQuery for front-end development and UI customization.
  • Proven ability to architect and deliver enterprise-level solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.​.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with headless commerce implementations.

  • Familiarity with API-driven architectures and integrations.

  • Prior experience in mentoring or leading technical teams.

Work-At-Home Requirements

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria:

At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested
Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership.
Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$106,900 - $147,000 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
