Department Overview

CommandCentral Records & CAD teams are responsible for building brand new, cloud-hosted products that streamline the capture, correlation, and real-time distribution of mission-critical information for improved dispatch decision-making, increased responder awareness and safety as well as smart and context-aware information retrieval. Both products are aimed at public safety (police, firefighters, military) and commercial businesses. The team is responsible for an end-to-end software development life-cycle that includes development, testing and maintenance of the systems we build.


Job Description

As part of the CommandCentral Records Management System Assist team, you will be responsible for leading integration of an AI tool that would give Officers their time back.

The main Tech Stack: Angular 19, JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, HTML, W3C Web Standards, Playwright.


Basic Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Over 4 years of practical experience with Angular

  • An experienced and hands-on JavaScript programmer (JavaScript / Typescript or any other high-level programming language)

  • Practical knowledge of test writing (e.g., unit, integration, and end-to-end testing), preferably Playwright.

  • Practical experience with modern CSS frameworks and/or CSS3

  • An expert understanding of web page building, packaging, and deployment processes

  • Familiarity with microfrontend solutions

  • Practical experience in the development and maintenance of large-scale software systems (testing, CI/CD, etc.)

  • Proven knowledge of W3C web standards

  • Problem solver - able to work under minimal supervision

  • A great team player

  • Good verbal and written English communication.

  • Supporting other team members through feedback, coaching and mentoring in day to day work

  • Excellent understanding of software craftsmanship principles

Would be a plus:

  • Practical understanding of machine learning tools and libraries

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Math, or related fields.
