Our approach to R&D
Position Summary
You will join our R&D Pilot Plant Analytical team in Singapore. You will design, develop and run analytical methods to support process development, scale-up and tech transfers. You will work closely with process scientists, manufacturing partners and external labs. We value curiosity, careful problem solving, and clear communication. This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
- Conduct all laboratory activities in a cGxP manner (e.g. ALCOA ++ ) as per R&D and site quality procedures.
- Generate, review and/or approve analytical test results to support release/rejection of finished substances by Quality Assurance.
- Generate analytical test results for raw materials, intermediates, and packaging components.
- Strong practical knowledge in HPLC, GC, Karl Fisher, and FTIR.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to lab improvement projects.

Basic Qualification
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals:
- Diploma in Science or Life Sciences with at least 10 years’ experience or Bachelors Degree in Chemistry or Life Sciences related discipline with at least 3 years’ experience.
- Hands-on analytical experience in a pharmaceutical or related regulated environment.
- Practical experience with HPLC/UPLC and method development.
- Good understanding of laboratory practices, data integrity and regulatory expectations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Able to work on-site in Singapore and collaborate across time zones as needed.
Preferred Qualification
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Experience with LC-MS, capillary electrophoresis, GC or other advanced analytical techniques.
- Experience supporting technology transfers and work with contract development and manufacturing organizations.
- Knowledge of stability testing and trend analysis.
- Experience in troubleshooting complex analytical problems and performing root cause analysis.
- Experience mentoring or supervising junior scientists.
- Familiarity with laboratory information management systems and analytical data software.
