Senior Analyst, Trade and Cash Operations

Quezon City Full time

Ensure cashflows and transactions are reflected in AABOR in a timely and accurate manner.  Efficient trade capture from different sources and booking derivative transactions into the accounting system. Work closely with onshore to ensure accurate data is booked in the system. Resolve reconciliation breaks by booking the discrepancy in the system after validation. Support Middle Office on the fund events on a regular basis.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Receive and validate transactions instructions from MIM/GA teams, onshore and custodians.
  • Diligently work with Middle Office and help resolve cash and positions breaks.
  • Review and validate DUCO cash and positions breaks to ensure propose adjustments are accurate.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of capital stock, trades, management fees and derivatives in AABOR.
  • Work within existing procedures and processes ensuring clear and concise documentation is created and maintained.
  • Work closely with SME and other senior members in establishing the control framework.
  • Remain updated with relevant securities industry development and market-specific best practices.
  • Provide support to the team as required, to participate in a regular program of industry specific training and interdepartmental cross training to ensure continuity of service.
  • Ensure fund events are monitored closely and necessary update in Informatica, seed capital and TIK/RIK processing are done timely.
  • Ensure timely and accurate booking of dividend distributions and reinvestments.
  • Initiate process improvements that will create efficiencies on the process

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or any related course, CPA board exam passer is an advantage
  • 2-3 years relevant work experience
  • Strong analytical ability, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge in securities instruments/settlements and investment process
  • Client focused with the ability to prioritize responsibilities
  • Negotiate with team and clients in a sophisticated and demanding business environment
  • React quickly and meet tight deadlines maintaining accuracy and thoroughness
  • Demonstrate flexibility and initiative in working with management and clients, adapting change strategies
  • Must be in a performing at least quality checks on the previous role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Average MS Office skills
  • Researching and sourcing data from various websites and internet databases
  • Familiarity in using Bloomberg and Simcorp Dimension is a definite plus.
