The Senior Total Rewards Analyst is a key individual contributor responsible for delivering advanced analytics, insights, and recommendations that shape the organization’s Total Rewards strategy. This role serves as a trusted analytical partner to HR leadership, providing expertise across compensation, benefits, wellbeing, and compliance while translating complex workforce and rewards data into actionable insights. The Senior Total Rewards Analyst leads HR and Total Rewards reporting, benchmarking, and dashboarding efforts, supports market pricing and job architecture decisions, and ensures data integrity, governance, and regulatory compliance across all Total Rewards programs. 

 responsibilities:  

  • Lead the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of HR dashboards and reporting tools to support workforce analytics, people strategy, and leadership decision-making. 
  • Serve as HRIS and reporting subject matter expert by developing and delivering recurring and adhoc analytics and insights (e.g., headcount, turnover, compensation trends, benefits utilization, pay equity, engagement metrics). 
  • Define and maintain reporting standards, metrics, and data governance practices across HR systems. 
  • Translate complex data into clear, executiveready insights and recommendations for HR leadership and business partners. 
  • Own audit leadership to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of HR and Total Rewards data, including validating inputs, reconciling discrepancies, and partnering with vendors to resolve data issues. 
  • Lead participation in external compensation surveys and benchmarking studies; analyze and interpret market data to assess competitiveness and inform Total Rewards decisions. 
  • Conduct market pricing analyses for new and existing roles, including job matching, leveling, and internal equity assessments. 
  • Provide analytical support for job architecture and job evaluation efforts, ensuring alignment across job families and levels. 
  • Partner with HR leadership to conduct pay equity analyses, identify trends and risks, and support remediation planning. 
  • Support the design, administration, and analysis of annual performance, merit, and variable compensation programs, including modeling and outcome analysis. 
  • Support the ongoing administration and enhancement of benefits programs, including open enrollment, new benefit initiatives, and rewards and recognition programs. 
  • Develop and deliver employee education sessions, presentations, and webinars to promote understanding of Total Rewards offerings. 
  • Support the wellness strategy, including engaging the wellness champion network and evaluating program impact. 
  • Administer the annual employee pulse survey; analyze results, identify trends, and partner with HR leaders to develop data informed action plans. 
  • Manage updates to company policies and the employee handbook, coordinating with legal counsel to ensure compliance and alignment with regulatory requirements. 
  • Independently support and coordinate annual compliance activities, including Form 5500 filings, non discrimination testing, Affordable Care Act tracking and reporting, and benefits plan audits. 
  • Ensure ongoing HR compliance with federal and state reporting requirements (including AAP, EEO, DOL, IRS, and other regulatory agencies). 
  • Respond to employee HR inquiries with accuracy, discretion, and a strong focus on customer service. 

 skills/qualifications required:  

  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations. 
  • Demonstrated experience leading HR or Total Rewards dashboards, reporting, and analytics. 
  • Solid understanding of compensation principles, including market pricing, benchmarking, job architecture, and pay equity analysis. 
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, data validation, basic modeling); proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. 
  • Experience with HRIS and people analytics systems (e.g., ADP, Lattice, or similar platforms). 
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with minimal direction. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences. 
  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on compliance, data integrity, and confidentiality. 
  • Working knowledge of labor laws, benefits regulations, and HR compliance and reporting best practices. 
  • 3–5 years of progressive experience in Total Rewards, compensation, benefits, HR analytics, or a related HR function.
